Privacy Policy

EZ PCS was previously named Waypoint PCS. This policy applies to both names for the same app.

Connor Boyd, operating as Ease App Studio, develops EZ PCS. This policy covers the EZ PCS Android app and the informational website at myezpcs.com and the previous domain waypointpcs.com. EZ PCS is an independent planning tool and is not affiliated with or endorsed by the U.S. military or U.S. government.

Information you enter in the app

EZ PCS stores your plan on the device you use. Your plan may include your military branch and component, move or transition type, marital status, household and dependent information, pets, housing, vehicle and moving arrangements, departure and destination information, and move dates. Optional special medical needs or EFMP answers help select relevant tasks. You may also enter custom tasks, notes, completion status, deadlines, event times, reminder choices, document readiness selections, expenses and expected reimbursements. Additional optional planning entries include travel distance, route locations and stops, vehicle fuel economy, fuel price, driving time, trip days, overnight stays, office contacts, follow-up dates, transition milestones and claim-planning status or dates. Avoid storing detailed health information or claim evidence in these fields.

This information is used to personalize your checklist, save progress, calculate budget totals, and provide the features you choose. Document readiness selections are checklist entries; the app does not require you to upload military orders or medical records. Avoid entering Social Security numbers, financial account numbers, classified information or detailed medical records into task notes.

Device storage and developer access

The current app does not require an EZ PCS account or automatically send your plan to an Ease App Studio server. It does not include advertising or analytics tracking. Ease App Studio cannot view your plan merely because you installed the app. Device or operating system backup services may back up or restore app data according to your device settings and the service provider's policies.

Optional calendar access

When you connect a calendar, Android asks for calendar read and write permission. The app reads available calendar names, identifiers and associated account names so you can choose a calendar. Account names may contain an email address. EZ PCS uses the selected calendar and information about its task events to create, check, update, view or remove those events.

Only tasks you explicitly add to the calendar are included. An event can contain the task title, notes, due date, start and end times, and reminder settings. The app stores event identifiers to manage events it created. If you choose a Google or other account calendar, that provider may upload events to its servers or make them visible to people with access to that calendar. Android and your calendar provider handle synchronization; EZ PCS does not verify cloud upload. Use an appropriate private calendar for personal details.

Calendar access is optional. You can disconnect the calendar in EZ PCS and revoke calendar permission in Android settings. Review and delete any remaining events in your calendar separately.

Optional notifications

If you enable phone notifications, the app requests notification permission and schedules local task reminders on your phone. Notifications can show task information on your lock screen according to your phone settings. Android may use alarm, wake and restart support to deliver scheduled reminders. You can turn off reminders in the app or revoke notification permission in Android settings. Calendar alerts are controlled separately by your calendar app.

Exports, printing and external services

When you export a backup, generate a PDF, print a checklist or export a calendar file, the resulting file or print job can include your plan information. You choose where files are saved and which apps open or share them. A selected cloud storage provider, PDF viewer, printing service or calendar service may process that information under its own policy. Protect these files and share them only with people you intend to receive them.

External resource links open other websites, which have their own privacy practices. If you choose Open route in Maps, your entered origin, destination and route stops may be passed to the mapping provider to display that route. EZ PCS does not automatically request your precise device location or retrieve a route estimate; the mapping app may request its own permissions. Google Play handles app downloads and any purchase transactions under Google's policies. EZ PCS does not collect payment card details.

Website and support communications

The informational website does not ask for your move plan or payment details and has no signup form. Hosting and network providers may process technical information such as IP addresses and request details to deliver and secure the website. The site does not add advertising trackers or analytics scripts.

If you contact Ease App Studio, we receive the contact information and message you provide. We use that information to respond and resolve your request. Send only the information needed for support. We do not sell your personal information. Support information may be processed by our email provider and retained as needed to handle the request, maintain relevant support records, or meet legal obligations.

Retention, deletion and security

Your saved plan remains on your device until you change or remove it. Importing a backup replaces the current plan but does not erase exported files or calendar events. To remove the app's local data, use Android Settings → Apps → EZ PCS → Storage → Clear storage, or uninstall the app. Operating system backups may retain a separate copy; manage those backups through the relevant provider.

Calendar events, downloaded backups, PDFs and printed copies can remain after app data is cleared or the app is uninstalled. Delete those copies separately in the calendar, storage service or other destination. You may request deletion of support messages by contacting us.

The app uses Android's app storage and permission controls. The website uses HTTPS. Local app data and exported files are not protected by an additional EZ PCS password or app-specific encryption. Use a device screen lock and appropriate account security. No storage or transmission method can guarantee absolute security.

Children and policy changes

EZ PCS is intended for adult service members and people helping manage military moves, rather than for children. Adults may enter household planning information about dependents; no dependent needs to create an account. We may update this policy when app features or data practices change. The effective date above identifies the current version.
